LOVE: Letters Owed Veterans Everywhere

On October 12, 2012, in Spotlight, by jroberts

Letters Owed Veterans Everywhere is a project that started in a small town in Iowa and we are working hard to make it a national tradition. This is Americans giving back the appreciation to our veterans that many have never received. Please help make this happen!

All through the month of October and up to November 11th, we are encouraging schools, churches, friends, and neighbors to write letters or postcards of appreciation to those that have served this nation! You can then deliver those letters to the veterans through the V.A. Hospitals such as Walter Reed, VFW halls, American Legion Posts and other Veteran’s organizations. Please help us grow this project and grow its success.
Attached is a flyer for you to print and post this in as many places as possible. Senior centers, churches, schools and clubs can make a great activity of this heartfelt project. We are also working with the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts organizations and if you have a local troop, please present this to them.

This is a growing project in the works. Any and all suggestions to help grow and refine this effort are really appreciated and welcome! With all of the attention on politics and elections, please help us make sure the veterans are not forgotten.
